Chief Osagie Hails Benin Monarch On 5th Year Anniversary

Promise to push for the return of more Artifacts

Chief, Dr. Osarodion Osagie has congratulated the His Royal Majesty, Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin Kingdom, on the celebration of 5th anniversary since his ascension to the throne of his forefathers.

He said the Oba of Benin should be celebrated by every true Benin descendants who desires the Benins to continually dominate across globe.

In a press statement issued and signed by the president of Godsents Fundation and made available to The9jaTrend emphasised that this historic achievement is what keeps us (the Benins) together.

“I am one of the first persons who promises myself that the Western world must return that which belongs to us as a kingdom that was looted the decades ago.

“Also, I am the first youth who traveled to Europe to join forces with our Royal Majesty requesting they return our treasure, the bronze cast is the trace of the Benins and securing this safe release, in spite of the humongous challenges, two out of the thousands of artefacts looted in Benin Kingdom is now in their right place.

“The return of the two prized Benin artefacts recently handed over by Jesus College, Cambridge and the University of Aberdeen, both in Britain was made possible because of our Royal father determination. No doubt, this event has attracted increased global respect for the Great Benin Kingdom and your reign.

“Since the return of the artifacts has commenced, I personally look forward to more returns of the looted artefacts from United Kingdom, Germany and other Countries directly to their original base. But if there is any further delays, I shall again do another trip from the United States of America to those places and push for it because I have done it before and we do it again,” Dr. CADO opined.
