REST IN PEACE: Emeritus Professor Osayuki Godwin Oshodin
With a heavy heart, We the Oshodin Family announces the death of our Patriarch and former Vice-Chancellor of the great University of Benin (UNIBEN), Emeritus Professor Osayuki Godwin Oshodin.
The sad incident occurred early hours of Sunday May 29th,2022 in Benin City, Edo state after a brief illness, at the age of 71.
It is a time of grief for us children, and family as we mourn his sudden death.
Kindly be informed that , the family shall in no distant time release details of his burial arrangement just as we pray God to comfort those he left behind in this period of our mourning.
The erudite scholar and Emeritus professor was until his demise
a professor of Health Education. Born on August 9, 1950, and was Vice Chancellor of UNIBEN from 2009 to 2014.
May God grant his Soul Eternal Rest. Amen!
