Edo To Host NUJ NEC Meeting/Tax Conference

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council will host the National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting/Tax Conference of the Union from Thursday November 10 to Saturday November 12, 2022.

The NEC is made up of the National Officers of the Union, as well as Chairmen and Secretaries of the 36 State Councils and Abuja.

A statement by Abimbola Oyetunde and Andy Egbon, Chairperson and Secretary of the Local Organising Committee respectively indicated that delegates for the Meeting/Tax Conference are expected to arrive on Thursday November 10, while the Opening Ceremony/Tax Conference and meeting will hold at 10.00am on Friday November 11 at the NUJ Press Centre, No. 1, Sir Gabriel Igbinedion Way, GRA, Benin City.

According to the statement, delegates are expected to return to their various states on Saturday November 12, 2022.

The statement therefore appealed to journalists and other stakeholders for their cooperation during the period.
