Recall that Amanda Azubuike who joined the United States Army in 1994 became an aviator after passing the Army Aviation Basic Course, was recently promoted from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Brigadier General by the US Army.

In a statement issued and signed by Barr Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the party, observed that the exploits was timely as the Nigeria was in dire need of more similar positive achievements to boost the dwindling image of the country in the comity of nations which has been tarnished as a result of successive inefficient leadership that has ridiculed the Nigerian nation at the international community despite our national endowments.

Barr. Abure pointed out that Nigerians, wherever they are in the world, are good, honest and hardworking people.

“Nigerians are peace loving, honest, intelligent and hardworking people wherever they find themselves.

“The bane of the Nigeria problem has been the lack of people-oriented and purposeful leadership to harness the abundant resourceful manpower and other sprawling endowments for the overall benefit of Nigerians and mankind in general.

“I wish to use this avenue say a big congratulations to a great Nigerian American born Soldier, Amanda Azubuike who joined the United States Army in 1994 and her recent promotion to the rank of Brigadier General by the US Army and has made Nigeria pround,” he said.
