Edo NAWOJ Chairperson, Adesuwa Gets An Award Of Excellence

The Advanced Management Academy has organised an International Women’s Day Conference And Recognition Ceremony of Selected Female Professionals from different walks of life.
It is to enlightened the women that no society can survive and succeed without the input of the womenfolk, stressing that every sector of the economy needs the support and the input of women to achieve its mandate.
The former spokesperson for United States Embassy, Abuja Mrs. Jeanne Clark who was International Guest Speaker at the event said in view of this enormous power the female gender is endowed with, it is quite critical to keep working on the sustainability strategy which will assist the women contribute their quota to societal wellbeing today and tomorrow unhindered.
“We are commemorating the International Women’s Day which holds, March 8 yearly with a national conference on Thursday and Friday, April 27 & 28, 2023.
“The women professionals in the dynamic and digital economy leading with 21st century leadership and communication skills education and the educationists as the torch bearers in women’s empowerment. The media and public relations as tools of women’s development,” she added.
During the two day Conference held at Savannah Suite Hotel, Area 3, Garki, Abuja organised Advanced Management Academy (AMA) an Outstanding Career Achievement Award was conferred on Adesuwa Ehimuan, Chairperson, Nigeria Association Of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Edo State.
Adesuwa Ehimuan nomination was based on her leadership role in journalism in Edo State and in Nigeria at large.
Adesuwa’s award was also based on her remarkable contributions to the wellbeing of women Journalists in Edo State.
The Edo NAWOJ Chairperson, Adesuwa Ehimuan outstanding and exemplary leadership style which resulted in her ascendance to the enviable position in her career, advocacy for women and girls in Edo State, Advocacy for women inclusion in politics. The inspiration which her achievement presents to the youth, girls, and young female and women folks in general that success is possible through sheer determination and the Grace of God.
The innovative and inspirational leadership style from which many people have benefitted and are still benefiting.
Special Guest of honour and speakers at the event included Ms. Kachollom Daju, mni, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Abuja, Dr. (Mrs) Ajani, Magdalene Nwanwuche, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry Of Transportation, Abuja, Mal. Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo, fnipr, President, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Comrade Muhammad Ibrahim Haruna, fnipr, National President, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), amongst others.
The conference has as its theme: Embrace Equality: Strategies for Action. For Women CEOs, Professional Women, Women Legislators, Heads of Department, Senior Managers and Senior Members of Staff in the Public & Private Sectors.
