Labour Party’s Door Is Open To Everyone – Ogbaloi

The Edo State Chairman of Labour Party, Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi has reemphasized that the party’s door is open to anyone who is willing to join the party across the country

Comrade Kelly made the statement while responding to questions from The9JaTREND reporter over the recent decamping of Kenneth Imansuagbon, former Edo State People’s Democratic Party governorship aspirant to Labour Party.

According Ogbaloi, “‘Labour Party is not stringently looking at the way he is coming, but is aware that Barr. Kenneth Imansuagbon is going to Abuja to declare for our Party and come back to the State. So we are not unhappy for what he has done.

On the rumour that one of the governorship aspirant from Esan Central, Dorry Okojie is ready to join the party, Comrade Ogbaloi said, “Dorry Okojie has felicitated with us as well, and we are waiting to receive him anytime to our party.

‘As you may be aware also, a lot of big wigs from All Progressives Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are also warming up to join the Labour Party, because they can no longer trust those parties in view of their experiences. The parties has failed Nigerians, they are gradually fading aware, and Labour Party is the party for the people, for Nigerians – the only party that can remedy the present predicaments that we are facing right now.

“So, the future is brighter for Labour Party in Edo State as you can see it coming, of course Labour Party in the political dispensation is the party to beat as you can see. So we have a brighter future to come.

“No soft landing for anyone who is coming into the party, they must pass through the rudiment, l mean the dos and dons of the party. Whoever come will go through the primary, and level play ground would be provided for everyone, and any of them who emerged at the primary would surely received the full support from the party leadership. Of course you can be sure of this because l do not expect them to crash, because individual intention would come to play, the party’s guideline would be made known to everyone, and the parimary – everybody would be made to go through the process.”
