Creative industry expert and showbiz promoter, Markus Mckane Okoebor, has unveiled the “Edo To The World” talent hunt, aimed at discovering and promoting emerging artistes and cultural talents across Edo State.
Markus said the initiative, organised by Brotherly Love Entertainment in collaboration with the Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, was designed to empower youths, promote Edo culture and strengthen talent development platforms in the state.
Speaking in Benin recently, Markus described the project as a “major step toward expanding opportunities for young people in the creative industry.”
According to him, the talent hunt will cover the 18 local government areas and the three senatorial districts to ensure grassroots participation, while the grand finale will be held in Benin City.
“Edo state has produced exceptional talents who deserve greater visibility and structured development opportunities,” he said.
Markus added that top entertainers, including I Go Dye, Klint Da Drunk and Edo Pikin, are expected to feature at the event.
