…Promises to deliver NDC to victory during 2027 general elections

A frontline Aspirant in the 2027 Edo Central Senatorial District election, Hon. John Ehibhatioman Yakubu has emerged as the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the state.
Yakubu’s emergence was based on the decision taken at an enlarge meeting of stakeholders of the party including leaders of the party across the five local government areas of the district, chairmen of the party in the five local government areas, all the aspirants in the senatorial district at the resident of the National Leader of the Party, Chief Don Peter Ojemen at Okpoji in Esan Central local government area of Edo State.
The meeting centered on the party’s zoning arrangements for Edo Central Senatorial District and was attended by all the party stakeholders across the district.
Speaking at the event, the National Leader of the party, Chief Don Peter Ojemen disclosed that the leadership of the party has unanimously agreed to zone the senatorial ticket to Esan North-East local government area for fairness, equity and equity. This was applauded by all the leaders present including all the aspirants from the senatorial district.
Thereafter all the senatorial aspirants including their representatives where given the opportunity to address the crowd. They all agreed that the leadership of the party zoning formula should be respected for equity and justice and thereafter tendered their withdrawal from the race that paved the way for Hon. John Yakubu emerging as the candidate of the NDC in the forthcoming 2027 Edo Central Senatorial election in the state.
Ojemen further emphasized the need for unity and fairness as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections in the state.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. John Yakubu thanked the leadership of the party and all the aspirants who step down for him to emerge as the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and promised to drive the NDC to victory in the 2027 general elections while assuring that the dividend of democracy get to the good people of the Edo Central Senatorial district of Edo state.
